Essential Science Indicators (ESI) is an analytical tool that helps you identify the best-performing research in the Web of Science Core Collection. Essential Science Indicators helps you identify influential individuals, institutions, reports, publications, countries, and even other emerging research areas in your field that could impact your work. Rank the most popular scientists, institutions, countries, and journals in 22 specific research fields based on scientific performance statistics and trends based on journal, article, and citation data. Identify influential individuals, institutions, articles, publications, and countries across hundreds of disciplines, as well as emerging research areas that could influence future research. The data covers a 10-year (rolling) period, and rankings and citation counts are updated bimonthly.
